About You:

Ideal Candidate:

As a Java Developer you are:

• A team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

• Proactive and result-oriented
• Equipped with excellent interpersonal skills

Must Have (Required):

• 3+ years experience in Java application development
• Good understanding of Design patterns and object-oriented paradigm.
• Experience working with SQL, RDBMS and MySQL
• Good knowledge with popular java frame works (Struts, Spring, etc.)
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, Subversion or CVS source control
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills

Nice To Have (Optional):

• Linux knowledge is a plus
• Experience with search engine technologies such as Apache Nutch and Apache Lucene
• Knowledge of XML, Xpath and Xquery is a plus.
• Interest in the fields of local search, social networking, blogging and related technologies, recommendation systems, and data mining
